Go Zero-Waste and Earn Rewards-- Join Cano Today!
Recycling is a good way to reduce the amount of waste that ends up in landfills, but the best way to make a difference is to REDUCE and REUSE! You can do your part to reduce and reuse by joining the SLC community in the zero-waste movement through the Cano program. 
SLC Faculty-Led Program Nominated for National Award   
Two SLC faculty-led programs have been nominated for the Canadian Bureau for International Education’s (CBIE) Panorama Award. This award recognizes “innovation and excellence in design, planning, implementation and management of high-quality endeavours in international education, with programming that focuses on academic, extracurricular, capacity-building and/or learning abroad.” 
Donors Have Major Impact for Students
Every year we are awed by the impact that donations from our communities have on life and work at SLC. Philanthropic support from staff, faculty, alumni, community members, and industry partners creates opportunities for SLC students and aids them through tough times.
Community Gratitude – Emancipation Day 2023 
Emancipation Weekend Celebrations in Kingston were a great success, with representation from SLC at the forefront! There were many Black owned businesses and artists who shared their integral and creative products, services and art with the Kingston community, many of which with an SLC connection.
Former Alumni Branch President Aims to Plant Tree of Peace
The Tree of Peace project at the Brockville campus has been initiated by Keith Hare, a long-time staff member of the Brockville campus and an SLC alumnus. He is now reaching out to colleagues, alumni, and community members to support the commemorative tree.
