SLC Kingston Students Paint the Town with Kindness for "Do Something Nice" Day 
On Thursday, October 5, students of the Business Human Resources program met at St. Larry’s Pub on the Kingston Campus to paint Kindness Rocks in celebration of National Do Something Nice Day. The colourfully painted rocks are meant to spread joy and kindness throughout the community while representing the HR program at SLC.  
A Taste of Cultures
A cultural collaboration, “Taste of Cultures,” led by the Global Learning Centre, with the help of Event and Banquet Services, St. Larry’s Pub, and Brown's, will run through October and November on all three campuses. Each week, SLC students will share traditional foods from different parts of the world at the Global Learning Centre.

Reducing Waste at SLC: The Cano Report, Fall 2023 
With a new semester and season comes a renewed effort to reduce the waste we send to landfills with the Cano reusable container and mug program. You can help reduce our footprint at SLC by participating in this free program. Help us build on this success and continue reducing waste at SLC.
New Residence Counsellors, Support Groups, Mindfulness on Campus: Updates from the IMHS Taskforce
Earlier this month, we shared September start-up resources from the Integrated Mental Health Strategy (IMHS) taskforce. The taskforce is developing a systemic and holistic framework for mental health to support the entire SLC community – both students and employees. We will share updates throughout the year, to support college-wide knowledge of the practices and services in mental health available.
