Employee & Family Assistance Plan
All employees have access to the services of the Employee & Family Assistance Plan (EFAP) through Morneau Shepell. This includes full-time employees, and since June it also includes part-time employees. The EFAP is a free service that provides employees and their eligible family members access to a number of resources to assist with a wide range of challenges or topics.
Registration Open for Winter/Spring 2021 Online and Continuing Education
Registration is now open for Winter/Spring 2021 courses offered through Online and Continuing Education at SLC. Continuing Education courses are mostly offered via instructor-led virtual classroom (alternate delivery), starting late January to May. Staff and faculty can take certain Continuing Education and OntarioLearn credit courses for only $20 (plus an OntarioLearn admin fee or course materials if applicable).
Music and Digital Media Performance: Digital Debris Festival
Don’t miss the talented performances of the Music and Digital Media students on Friday, December 11 at 7 p.m. “Live” on YouTube, this event will feature musical performances as well as audio and video digital art projects.
BBA Grads Become Chartered Professional Accountants
After writing the Common Final Examination (CFE), five SLC Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) grads were successful this year and will be admitted to the Chartered Professional Accountant's membership.

SPARK, part of the Innovation and Business Engagement department at SLC, is an in-house student enterprise focused on solving communication challenges for businesses in our community.
