SLC student’s work with Queen’s University will help revolutionize medical education with augmented reality
Korey Thomson, a third-year student in the Instrumentation and Control Engineering Technology program is creating software to run virtual holograms for clinical simulations for medical students at the Queen’s University Medical Simulation Lab. The software will be used on a headset called the HoloLens which uses 3D models to create learning scenarios for medical students. Autism and Behavioural Science Students Fundraise for World Autism Awareness Day
For the last several years, SLC students in the Autism and Behavioural Science program have engaged in a range of fundraising and public awareness activities in order to draw attention to both the needs and unique abilities of people with autism and their families.
