Students Champion Environmental Action Through Community-Focused Projects 
First-year Environmental Technician students from St. Lawrence College have completed a series of impactful Environmental Sustainability Action Projects as part of their course, ENVI 1000: Environmental Issues and Solutions. These projects showcased the students' dedication to promoting sustainability while engaging meaningfully with the Cornwall community.

On November 27th, third year nursing students in the Mental Health Challenges course gave guided tours of their group projects that are on display in the Marianne van Silfhout Gallery as part of the current exhibit, May You Be Well. Also on display are drawings and paintings by students in the Fine Arts program. 
Reducing Waste at SLC: Cano Report - Fall 2024 
Thank you to SLC community members who participated in the Cano program in 2024! Small changes lead to significant impact when we work together. Use the free Cano when you visit any SLC cafeteria and contribute to reduced waste to landfills.
United Way Campaign – That’s a Wrap! 
St. Lawrence College is thrilled to announce that its 2024 United Way fundraising campaign has achieved an incredible milestone, raising $16,474.00—a 5-year high! This remarkable achievement reflects the generosity and dedication of the SLC community, whose support will contribute to vital programs addressing food security, mental health, and homelessness across our three campuses and our local communities. 
In-Person Leadership Events Boost Student Engagement
This November, the Student Engagement team hosted a Lunch & Learn Leadership Series across all three campuses, attracting over 130 students eager to develop leadership skills and connect with inspiring guest speakers.
