Tania Nicholls, Belinda Holmes, and Mary Gauthier from SLC’s Wellness Team will present their research along with researchers from Queen’s University and Kingston’s Addiction & Mental Health Services (AMHS-KFLA) in a poster presentation at the Centre for Innovation in Campus Mental Health’s Annual Conference being held virtually on November 3, 2021.

Early Childhood Education alum Shauna Taylor has just published a children’s book called "The Door". Inspired by her daughter, her debut is a story of courage and overcoming any fear, big or small.

Dr. Rea Marcelissen, a professor in the Veterinary Technology program was a presenter at this year’s Association of Veterinary Technician Educators Conference in St. Louis, Missouri. Her talk, entitled, "From Scalpel to Streaming: A New Professor’s Experience in Teaching during a Global Pandemic," was a light-hearted presentation on the challenges of the past year of teaching, through the eyes of a new professor.
Ten-Year Partnership Continues to Deliver Vocational and Employability Skills
Over the last ten years, St. Lawrence College has built an excellent relationship with the Correctional Service of Canada through the delivery of vocational training programs for their soon-to-be released populations. We are excited to be continuing with face-to-face training this fall at various regional institutions.
