SLC appoints new Vice President Finance, Procurement, Risk, and CFO
St. Lawrence College (SLC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Bosco Yuan as the new Vice President Finance, Procurement, Risk, and Chief Financial Officer. Bosco begins his new role on Monday, November 3, 2025.
“We welcome Bosco with his extensive experience in both profit and non-profit organizations, and his strategic financial leadership that will motivate, inspire, and develop teams,” said Glenn Vollebregt, SLC President and CEO. “His experience and insights will help ensure our finance, procurement, and risk management areas are well supported as we continue to adapt and grow here at SLC.”
SLC graduate wins prestigious award
St. Lawrence College (SLC) is thrilled to announce that alumnus Patrick Moore is the recipient of a prestigious Premier’s Award in the category of Workforce and Skilled Trades Advancement. The announcement was made on October 16 by Colleges Ontario and will be presented at a special, private event in Toronto on November 24, 2025.
SLC recognized as a top performer in the 2025 Sustainable Campus Index
St. Lawrence College (SLC) has been recognized as a Top Performer in the 2025 Sustainable Campus Index, a publication that recognizes top performers in Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE’s) STARS rankings. This reporting framework for colleges and universities is used to measure and report on their sustainability performance in 13 impact areas.
This year SLC has been recognized as one the top performing institutions within the STARS reporting framework based on institution type. SLC is listed in the top performers in the Associate and Short Cycle Institutions category where 27 associate institutions were considered and eight institutions in the 2.2 reporting category were selected for overall excellence in their commitment to sustainability.

St. Lawrence College (SLC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Nelly Radfar as the new Executive Director, Digital Technology and Innovation. Nelly began her new role on August 18, 2025.
Nelly brings over two decades of experience in digital transformation, innovation leadership, and customer experience strategy, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale technology modernization initiatives across global and national organizations.
St. Lawrence College Appoints New Director, Indigenous Initiatives
St. Lawrence College (SLC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Lindsay Brant as Director, Indigenous Initiatives. Dr. Brant began in her new role to strengthen SLC’s commitment to Indigenous Ways of Knowing and Being on August 18, 2025.
Dr. Brant brings extensive expertise in Indigenous education and curriculum development and most recently served as Associate Director, Indigenous Curriculum Development at Queen’s University Health Sciences, as well as teaching in its Master of Health Professions Education program. Brant also recently co-created the acclaimed course, "Relationships and Reconciliation in Business and Beyond" with the Smith School of Business.
