St. Lawrence College Opens Doors to Dreams

Find out why SLC is number one in the province for graduate employment rate. Learn all about our career-focussed programs and our unique offerings at the annual Open House, Saturday, November 20, from 9 am to noon on the Brockville, Cornwall and Kingston campuses.

Visitors will learn about the 80 plus programs offered across the three campuses. For example, Music Theatre Performance, Fine Arts and Firefighter are popular programs in Brockville bringing students from far and wide. The only applied degree program in Behavioural Psychology in Canada is offered at the Kingston campus, as well as the "green" cluster of programs, Energy Systems Engineering Technician, Wind Turbine Technician, and the brand new Geothermal Technician. Cornwall campus features Environmental Technician, Game Development Technician, Welding and Fabricating, Paramedic, and more. All campuses offer Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Police Foundations, General Arts and Science, and more.

Open House will also be great opportunity to speak directly to the faculty and to amass information on admission requirements, paying for college, financial aid, awards, scholarships and bursaries, student athletics, campus life and much more.

"In addition to the wealth of information to be gathered by visiting parents, students, and the general public, tours will also be available," said Barry Keefe, Director of Recruiting for St. Lawrence College. "We are especially proud of our new, modern labs and classrooms in Cornwall, the new café like student commons in Brockville, and the Skilled Trades Training Facility in Kingston."

Open House will be held from 9 am to noon on Saturday, November 20 at the Cornwall, Brockville and Kingston campuses. Admission is free, and so is parking.
