POSITION SUMMARY
Incumbent reports to the department manager, and under the guidance of the designate, will work up to 20 hours per week. The incumbent in this position is responsible for the maintenance of social media channels meant to promote AMC & DMC programs and foster engagement in the School of Professional Services and Innovation at St. Lawrence College and connect prospective, current, and past students. Relevant content will be curated and posted such as classroom activities, alumni updates, employer testimonials and industry news.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with program coordinator and professors to build a semester long content calendar.
- Meet weekly with coordinator re: current and upcoming content development.
- Research and curate content for social media postings several times per week.
- Develop social media networks and relationships to strengthen social media presence.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with social media marketing
Other Required Qualifications:
- Knowledge of St. Lawrence College community culture.
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Time management, strong organizational skills, and an attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively work independently with instruction, or collaboratively as part of a team.
- General knowledge of standard computer applications (MS word, Excel, Teams, & Email).
- High degree of integrity for maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Physical/Work Environment Essential Requirements:
The successful incumbent must have the ability to report to the work location.
Salary & Terms
- Start Rate: $17.20/hour, (plus 6% in lieu of vacation)
- Hours per week: 20.00

Terms of Employment:
- Must be returning to Full-Time studies in the Fall 2025 semester.
- Must be in good academic standing for full duration of employment.
