Brand Identity I

Objective

The project objective is to create a logo and e-commerce website for Rooted through focused research that helps create an understanding of brand development and responsive web design.

Description

Rooted is a family owned plant business that focuses on linking nature and the comforts of home together. Allowing the rough edges to shine through makes this unique and memorable, letting individuality shine through. The rustic bold ‘R’ grounds the logo, making it feel rooted.

Typography V

Objective

The project objective was to develop and create a 16 page minimum book spread of the work by Sacha French, a local artist within the community.

Description

Sacha’s work is known for her bright, bold colours and thick paint strokes, embodying movement in the works she produces. The spreads harness those bold colours and showcases her work through simple text layouts that let the work speak for itself. Sacha’s style is reflected through the hand-written titles, colour choice, and use of illustration.

Graphic Design IV

Objective

The project objective was to create an awareness campaign on a major environmental issue by developing two assets (print and digital) to promote and support the campaign.

Description

Environmental campaigns act as a platform for engagement, awareness, and education. This one focuses on natural pollination and the importance of pollinators in our local environments. By creating a design that was hand drawn in black and white to emphasize the decline of pollinators in nature, it generates eye-catching contrast that draws viewers in.
