Are you ready to enrich your academic journey with a transformative short-term global learning opportunity? Through our Global Learning initiative, you can take international courses that fulfill your general education requirements while gaining valuable intercultural skills and perspectives.
How It Works
- Explore Pre-Approved Courses
- Review this list of international institution courses that have been pre-approved for transfer credit to our institution. These courses meet the general education requirements for a variety of programs.
- Apply Through the Global Learning Centre
- Submit an application to take one of these pre-approved courses through the Global Learning Centre. If approved, you’ll receive a "Letter of International Transfer Credit" from the Pathways Coordinator, which confirms that your chosen course is eligible for credit transfer upon completion.
- Complete the Course Abroad
- Attend the international institution, participate in the short-term course, and embrace this enriching experience.
- Earn Transfer Credit
After successfully completing the course, submit your official transcript to the Pathways Coordinator in the Registrar’s Office. Once verified, you will receive transfer credit toward your general education requirement!
Receiving Transfer Credit
- Before Your Course: Ensure you’ve received the "Letter of International Transfer Credit" confirming the course’s eligibility for transfer.
- After Completion: Submit your official transcript to the Pathways Coordinator in the Registrar’s Office. Your transfer credit will be processed, and you’ll achieve credit for your general education requirement.
