Bios from our guest speakers:

Lisa Macdonald: Lisa Macdonald is the Inclusion specialist at KEYS, Part-time Professor at Saint Lawrence College and a Director at Compassionate Communities Kingston, Canada. She has 15 years experience as a recruiter. A Lifelong learner, she recently completed her Certified Career Strategist certification. A first-generation immigrant to Canada, Lisa understands the challenges of navigating school and the job market. Continuous learning and volunteering has enabled Lisa to be an effective, innovative educational leader ensuring that students receive the foundation needed to achieve personal and professional growth. Lisa is passionate about community capacity building. She has a MBA with specialisation in Human Resources and holds the Certified Human Resources Leader designation. 

Rayna Hachez: After earning my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Trent University, I was unsure of the next step in my professional career. After doing some research, I quickly realized that psychology can be related to Human Resources in many ways. I then enrolled in the Business Administration – Human Resources program at St. Lawrence College. Following graduation, I obtained my current employment with the County of Frontenac as their Human Resources Assistant. Through my experience I have found a passion for the field and am eager to continue growing and learning throughout my professional career.
 

Bob Wonch: Bob is the Community General Manager with CIBC and leads teams both in Kingston and Gananoque communities. Our community has a total of four branches for a total of 48 staff - 14 Customers Service Representatives, 16 Financial Service Representatives, 9 Financial Advisors, 3 Financial Service Administrators, and 5 Managers Bob has been in banking for 33 years with the last 6 being at CIBC. He has had the opportunity to work in many roles over those years, including Customer Service Representative, Financial Services Representative, Financial Advisor, Head Office, and Branch Manager.

Mily Begum: I started my career with CIBC in 2012 in the Credit Contact Centres in various roles focused on client experience, problem resolution, risk management. In 2014 I joined Investor’s Edge team as a Workforce Intraday Specialist where I work with internal business partners to provide creative solutions, analyze data, and provide recommendations to improve processes for our frontline employees. In 2020, I joined our Talent Acquisition team supporting Ontario West Markets during this time, I discovered my passion for a career in Talent Acquisition and enjoy building a positive business partner experience while helping candidates to achieve their career ambitions with CIBC. In my spare time, I enjoy travelling, nature, going for long drive or walk and spending time with family and friends.
