The Marianne van Silfhout Gallery is honored to host Take a Stand, an impactful traveling exhibition addressing human trafficking awareness. Organized by Maison Baldwin House, a women’s shelter in Cornwall, and debuting at the Cline House Gallery in Cornwall in early March, this travelling exhibit features approximately 500 pairs of white jeans, each uniquely designed and decorated by students, artists, shelter staff, survivors, and partner agencies from Cornwall, SDG&A. Through paint, embroidery, beading, and ink, participants have transformed these garments into powerful statements of emotion and resilience.
Dates: March 27 - 29, 2025
Reception: Saturday, March 29, 1-3 pm.
