SLC congratulates Rielly Keeler as this year’s Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) Awards of Excellence Leadership Excellence Award for Students nominee. A second-year business student, Rielly has made a positive lasting impact on peers, SLC, and the community and is a well-known leader in academics, co-curriculars, and community contribution.
In addition to her academic leadership, Rielly is President of EnactusSLC, and a student employee in the Innovation Hub. She re-established the presence of EnactusSLC beginning in fall 2024, recruiting a team of student leads and supports, a broad advisory board, and expanding to the Cornwall campus.
Rielly’s contributions to peers and community are many. Highlights include creating and coordinating the first EnactusSLC Pride Gallery and leading with compassion as an Enactus Canada Mental Health Ambassador. Rielly’s leadership supports her peers through projects like Halloween Harvest which collected 300lb in food donations for Kingston’s Partners in Mission Foodbank.
Nominees and winners will be honoured at the CICan Annual General Meeting in June 2025 and recognized on the CICan website.
