The Ontario Colleges Accounting Case Competition (OCACC) was hosted this year by St. Lawrence College. Held on SLC’s Kingston campus on April 1, 2023, marking OCACC’s return after a four-year break due to the pandemic, the event welcomed accounting student teams from across Ontario for a day of competition, action learning, and networking. OCACC tested the problem-solving skills of accounting students in a timed and judged case study. Student presentations were evaluated from a real-world perspective by judges with an accounting background.
Thank you to our sponsors, CPA Ontario and McGraw-Hill, for their generous support. Thank you to School of Business Assoicate Dean Jamie Puddicombe for MCing the event and to SLC President and CEO Glenn Vollebregt for his virtual address. Thank you to all the faculty coaches, judges, and student volunteers who made this event possible.
