Music and Digital Media Performance: Digital Debris Festival

Digital Debris Festival 2020 Dec. 11 7:00 p.m. EST LIVE

The Music and Digital Media (MDM) Program, the only program of its kind in Canada, will showcase its students' diverse talents in an online event this Friday, December 11. Each semester, the MDM program hosts an end-of-semester live showcase to share the musical and digital arts talents and creativity of students in the program.

On December 11 at 7 p.m., on the YouTube channel Digital Debris Festival 2020, the showcase will go public. The event will feature musical performances as well as digital art (audio and video projects). The channel will remain active after the showcase, so anyone who misses the launch can watch it later.

The showcase is both a semester highlight promoting the program's talent, as well as a major component of the program's Entrepreneurial Skills course for musicians and digital artists. Students are responsible for the entire organization and production of the event and are graded on it. In past years, the event has been held on campus. This is the inaugural online event. For those who miss the launch, the showcase will remain on the YouTube channel.
