The Brockville Community Integration Through Co-operative Education (CICE), class of 2026, in partnership with our St. Lawrence College Student Administrative Council (SAC) is proud to once again lead the Brockville Campus Community Food Drive.
This year’s CICE students recognize the struggles of some of the students in the SLC community and have taken the initiative to stand up and give back.
As part of their program content, CICE students have taken on the responsibility to organize and facilitate the annual food drive. This project incorporates multiple professional attributes of our students as they organize, create market plans and ads, collect, categorize and redistribute all non-perishable food collected.
This year’s SLC Food Drive kicked off on November 4 and runs until November 29. Through the generosity of the SLC Student Administrative Council, there is a $200 prize for the program that donates the most non-perishable food items (calculated by weight per student). We also appreciate donations of baby necessities and feminine hygiene products.
