“Together We Are...”, the new juried art exhibition opened on July 11 at the Marianne van Silfhout Gallery on SLC’s Brockville campus.
The show features work by 15 artists responding to the theme of togetherness and includes 27 works of watercolour, acrylic, oil, drawing, mixed media, textile, and sculpture.

In their submission, artists were asked to complete the sentence "Together We Are...". Here are a few examples of the responses:
- Together we are stronger!
- Together we are forever family until the end.
- Together we are two against the sea.
- Together we are better equipped to cope with stormy times.
- Together we are reaching out in solidarity!
- Together we are delicious!
Visitors to the show can vote for the People's Choice Award until August 25th, by completing a ballot in the gallery. This award and others will be given out at the closing reception on Thursday, August 25, 7-9 pm.
