St. Lawrence College is proud to present the Global Engagement Strategy, 2020-2024, which supports and aligns with SLC’s vision of being a "globally recognized college delivering innovative learning opportunities and preparing career-ready graduates to be leaders in their field." (SLC in Five, 2019-2024).
The International Education department began work on comprehensive internationalization as a strategic initiative in 2018. Through extensive consultation with SLC leadership, faculty, staff, students, and community members, the strategic initiative laid the groundwork for the Global Engagement Strategy.
To carry out the Strategy, we envision ourselves as:
"Champions of global engagement, we foster inclusive, meaningful community connections and collaborative strategic partnerships so that students, employees, SLC communities, and partners can thrive in an interconnected world."
