The Centre for Behavioural Studies was officially launched in 2013. The Centre is a hub for researchers, faculty, students, behaviour analysts and community service providers to work together to advance the science of behaviour analysis.

Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) provides policy makers, businesses, practitioners and individuals with insights into how to affect behavioural change, both at the individual level and at the larger scale group or community levels. The Centre provides a nucleus where experts and students in the field of ABA can work together to advance, mobilize and implement the science of behaviour analysis.

A 2016 community survey, that was responded to by 56 community agencies within the SLC catchment area, found a significant interest in the Centre among existing and potential College partners.
