POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for leading Spark’s internal and external clients through numerous marketing communication challenges. You are the backbone of our project coordination processes and bring exceptional organization, professionalism and strategic thinking to each and every project. It is your role to support all aspects of the team, helping where needed. Keeping the clients updated and ensuring all deadlines are met and projects are completed on time.
You will be actively involved in working with the Spark team to conduct industry research, develop creative solutions, and produce strategic marketing and communication documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies that align with client goals and the agency's objectives.
- Conducts market research to identify target audiences, industry trends, and emerging opportunities, contributing to comprehensive marketing plans.
- Coordinates and executes marketing campaigns across various channels, monitoring performance and tracking key metrics to report on project statuses.
- Supports client engagement, acting as a point of contact for inquiries, understanding client needs, and aligning team efforts with client expectations.
- Ensures consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials and communications, supporting internal branding initiatives to foster a strong agency culture.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Other Required Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong project management abilities.
- Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, social media management tools, and content management systems.
- Familiarity with marketing analytics tools and a creative approach to problem-solving and strategy development.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with generative AI tools is considered an advantage.
Physical/Work Environment Essential Requirements:
The successful incumbent must have the ability to report to the work location.
Salary & Terms
- Start Rate: $17.20/hour (plus 6% in lieu of vacation)
- Hours per week: 12
