INTN 1026

This course provides the second year student with experience in working directly with emotionally disturbed children or youth in a therapeutic setting. The student will be given the opportunity to engage in therapeutic relationships with young people to promote growth and development. This course affords students the opportunity to design, implement and evaluate individual and group therapeutic activities, employ effective intervention strategies and to engage in professional relationships; participating effectively as a team member, consulting and working collaboratively to continuously improve the quality of service.
