It is only recently, in the second half of the 20th century, that our society has become aware of environmental issues. They are now recognized to be central to the quality of human life. This course will address environmental issues from four different perspectives: The History and Philosophy of the Environmental Movement, Environmental Science, Social and Political Issues, and Social and Personal Action. (3 hrs. per week).
Prerequisite: None.
