Quality management practices are critical to the success of the 21st century workplace. Organizations ranging from health care and service organizations to business and the high technology industries recognize and practice a variety of quality assurance methods. This course supports the development of quality management and quality assurance practices suitable to the various needs of the workplace. These tools and techniques are used to enable improvements in teamwork, communication, problem-solving and process improvement. (3 hrs. per week)
