FAHP 3200

This course will teach the student how to conduct assessments of fitness, well-being and lifestyle for clients. A focus will be placed on conducting the CPAFLA, which includes the ability to monitor heart rate and blood pressure, assess body composition, and conduct cardiovascular, flexibility and muscular fitness testing among other components associated with the Certified Personal Trainer certification through the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology. The student will be provided with the opportunity to obtain a great deal of practical experience in this course.

Pre-requisite: FAHP 1200, FAHP 2000, FAHP 2200, FAHP 2300, FAHP 2500.
Co-requisite: FAHP 3500.
