FAHP 2200

This course will focus on how to lead and motivate fitness participants in a group setting according to the National Fitness Leadership Advisory Committee guidelines. As an extension of FAHP 1200, students will learn how to safely and efficiently deliver strength and conditioning programs. The Can-Fit-Pro Group Fitness and YMCA IC2 Personal Training applied theory and practical courses will be included. Finally, students will learn to adapt traditional fitness principles outside of a traditional setting through outdoor education modules.

Pre-requisites: FAHP 1000, FAHP 1200.
