EARL 66

Communication Strategies for Early Childhood Educators is a child-centred course which utilizes the strategies of the Hanen program and its course Learning Language and Loving It. The focus of EARL 66 addresses the importance of the teacher’s participation in the prevention and intervention of language delays and the need to provide service to children with special needs as early as possible. This course provides Early Childhood Education students and early childhood educators in child care settings with the knowledge and support they need to help children learn to communicate. Students will learn how to create enriched, interactive language-learning environments and be provided with information on the promotion of children’s social skills and early literacy development.
