CPEN 5000

Consulting with the instructor(s) as needed, students in this course produce multi-paragraph writing with clearly defined purposes. The content should be effectively organized, and the presentation should be designed with the reader in mind. By reading selections from published sources (articles, essays, short fiction), students closely examine aspects of structure and style to see how other authors have designed and produced various forms of communication. Orally and in writing, students evaluate and respond to what they’ve read.
