Pre-Requisites:  CIVL 39 - Computer Assisted Drafting Design I ( CAD I)

This course focuses on the use of computer technology in the field of Civil Engineering Technology. Students apply their general knowledge of AutoCAD® learned in CAD I through a number of hands-on exercises to develop and strengthen their recognition of good CAD techniques. The student has the opportunity to become a more productive user of the software by knowing the best tool for the task, the best way to use the tool and by creating new tools to more efficiently accomplish specialized tasks. Some advanced CAD topics and customizing are discussed. Assignments are typically chosen from Civil/Survey/Construction applications.
