BLAW 1007

This course builds upon the previously-learned foundational substantive and procedural issues relating to the practice of civil litigation in Ontario. Students continue to acquire knowledge and skills related to the law and procedure of a civil proceeding in the Superior Court of Justice, including offers to settle, trial preparation and conduct, appeals, and costs. Alternative dispute resolution is also explored. In addition, students apply their knowledge through the preparation and conduct of moot court exercises.
