BIOL 202

This is a laboratory-lecture integrated course that covers the biological chemistry, structure, and function of the major constituents of cells including proteins, nucleic acids, carbohydrates, and lipids. The relationships between these molecules and their metabolic pathways are examined. This course includes the manipulation of cellular enzymes as well as the purification, qualification and quantification of nucleic acids and proteins and how they apply to biotechnological applications.
