BEHA 38

This course provides an introduction to the basic principles of behavioural learning theory and applied behaviour analysis. Students will develop a working knowledge of behavioural concepts and their application in the field of human services, as well as an understanding of factors which facilitate learning, both in everyday life and in more structured teaching situations. Emphasis is placed on positive approaches to teaching new skills and behaviours. Ethical considerations will also be discussed.
