BCOM 106

This is a comprehensive word processing course covering the basic and intermediate features of Microsoft Word. A hands-on course which is taught entirely in a computer lab, BCOM106 offers a brief introduction to inexperienced computer users and moves on to the basic features required for the preparation of a variety of word processing documents. Later modules of the course introduce students to intermediate features of Word, its graphics and Web features, and the integration of other programs and applications in the preparation of word processing documents. (3 hrs. per week)
