Music Theatre – Performance students present an original production, Who Stole Mona?

The Puddle Jump Players, a young theatre company of third-year students in St. Lawrence College’s Music Theatre – Performance program, are proud to present their original production, Who Stole Mona?, a comedic musical and whodunit mystery.

There will be four performances of Who Stole Mona? on March 15, 16, and 17 in the Marianne van Silfhout Gallery on St. Lawrence College’s Brockville campus. The production is based on an original concept created by third-year Music Theatre – Performance students in which the famous Mona Lisa painting by Leonardo Da Vinci has come to life and attempts to solve the mystery of the missing Mona Lisa. The production features an original script and score created by the students, and a host of characters including The Thinker, Girl with a Pearl Earring, and Van Gogh.

The Puddle Jump Players theatre company is the result of the Original Production class in the third year of Music Theatre – Performance program. Mentored by faculty, students delegate creative and production tasks (including playwriting, lyric writing, music composition and arrangement, choreography, technical design, administration, budgeting, outreach and public liaison duties) to create and perform an original work.

Tickets can be purchased for $15 by contacting Music Theatre Liaison Michael Jackson at or ext. 3315.
