The purpose of the ESL program is to provide international and domestic students who speak English as a second language with instruction and support that will enable them to improve their English language skills and prepare for further academic studies.
Students will develop their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills, and will have the ability to successfully participate and function in an English-speaking academic environment in Canada. Students will also have the opportunity to learn about Canadian culture and the local area through meaningful experiences in the community, which will include field trips to various historical and cultural sites.
