Manufacturing Leadership

Available at: Online part-time

The Manufacturing Leadership Certificate Program (MLCP) has been developed through a training partnership of five Ontario Community Colleges and the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters (CME). Global competition, the development of advanced technologies and other economic challenges are rapidly changing the way Canadian business and industries operate. Supervisors have felt the impact of the changes most dramatically. Today’s manufacturing supervisors must demonstrate multifaceted leadership combine with a high level of technical expertise. The MLCP is exactly what you need if you are a supervisor, manager or have goals targeted in that direction.

To successfully complete this program, participants must complete five (5) compulsory courses.

  • The demand for part-time courses has increased to the point that we recommend you register early to ensure your acceptance into the course.
  • Online courses are easily identified by CS at the beginning of the course code (i.e. CSSE 65 Accounting Basics 1)
  • Textbooks and additional materials may be required for these courses. YOU are responsible for purchasing your textbooks and any additional materials for all courses. Please make a note of your course code (CS##) and see the bottom of this page for book order procedure.

Visit the Online and Continuing Education catalogue for course details and to register.

I wouldn't have been able to get to where I am now without the knowledge and experience that I gained through the Nursing Program at SLC. So many people at the college helped me to become what I needed and wanted—and for that I give thanks everyday.
