Would you benefit from having academic accommodations to help you be successful at SLC? Do you require supports but are not sure what academic accommodations are available to you? Find out about all of the supports and resources available, how to register, and the steps to get you ready for the fall.

How to be a Post-Secondary Parent 

So you are now the parent of a post-secondary student, what does that actually mean and how it is different than High School? Learn about supporting your student appropriately as they must now advocate for themselves. The facilitators will talk about what you can and can’t do as a parent to help your child through the transition to college and some personal tips and tricks that they used – this session is run at the same time as the Student Experience Panel session.

Get the scoop on what it’s like to be a student at SLC. We have several current students & graduates who share their experiences from application to graduation – this session is run at the same time as How to be a Post-Secondary Parent session.

Adjusting to your first year of college can be an incredibly rewarding but stressful experience.  Come meet your Student Success Facilitators and learn all about the supports and resources available to make your transition to St. Lawrence College a positive and fulfilling one. 

OSAP – what you need to know
Over 60% of our students use OSAP to fund their education.   In this session, OSAP Advisors will cover the important parts of the online application, what to expect throughout the process, how you pay for tuition, when you get your funding and where you can get more information. –
