Do I Need An Appointment?

No, St. Lawrence College students who are writing tests for their St. Lawrence College courses do not need to make formal appointments with the Test Centre. However, students must coordinate with their instructor in terms of their write date and time.

What Do I Bring?

Photo ID is mandatory for students to be able to write in the Test Centre. Students should also bring the appropriate test material, such as pens, pencils, and erasers. Note that students will be given a list of resources/study aids from their instructors prior to their test.

Academic Honesty

In the Test Centre all students are held to the same standard of Academic Honesty that is set out in their course outlines and discussed at the beginning of each term. If issues/infractions arise (such as cheating) students will be not be able to complete their test and a formal note will be made to their instructor for further action.

Where are you located?

Kingston Campus: The Test Centre is located on the second floor of the college in room #22120. We are directly beside the Student Association. Tri-campus room locations can be found at the bottom of our homepage under contact information.

Brockville Campus: The Test Centre is located on the second floor of the college in room #212.

Cornwall Campus: The Test Centre is located on first floor of the main building in room #M1420.

How do I find my test?

When you arrive at the Test Centre, simply greet Test Centre staff and inform them of your instructor’s name along with your name (having your student card ready).

When will I get my mark back?

All completed tests/exams will be placed into your instructor’s outgoing file. Students are not required to return completed tests/exams. Instructors will pick up completed exams and deliver feedback in accordance to what they have discussed in class.

Is there another Test Centre on campus?

Kingston Campus: For students with specific accommodations, there is an alternative testing centre located in room #00480 on the basement floor. This is the Accessible Test Centre which requires formal appointments made by the student. Brockville Campus: No, all testing related needs can be directed to our main Test Centre location room #212.

Cornwall Campus: No, all testing related needs can be directed to our main Test Centre location in room M1420.
