The Student Union strives to make the student experience an unforgettable one!

Funded by student fees, we provide a roster of events to entertain and engage the student body. In the Shark Tank Lounge, you are always welcome to relax with a game of pool, foosball, or ping pong. For the gamers, we have all of the current consoles available. Bring your own game or use one of the available ones at the Student Union office. A dedicated gamer’s corner will allow you and your friends to play comfortably on the big screen.

We are your one-stop shop for anything student-related. If you have any question/problem you need help with, we have an open door policy. If we are unable to help you, we can direct you to someone who can.

Our mandate is clear: We want to offer you, the student, the best bang for your buck, and a college experience to boast about.

Welcome you to our campus, stop by the CSU office, have a coffee, share some ideas!

Student Union Board of Directors

Students who are interested in being involved in the decision making for your student body are invited to run for one of six positions on the Board of Directors. Elections are held annually in September. One student from each of the six faculties on campus will be elected to represent their peers for the academic year. So if you’re that person, come down to the Student Union for more information. What better way to get involved, meet people and have fun!

Locker Rentals

Lockers are rented through the Student Union office for $15.00 per semester or $25.00 for the full year with a $5.00 refundable deposit. Lockers are rented throughout the year.

Bus Passes

Bus passes are available at the CSU office. Yearly and semester passes cost $300.00 and $150.00 respectively. Alternatively, monthly passes (with a Cornwall Transit ID) are available for $53.00 and student 10-ride cards cost $23.00.

Shark Tank Lounge

Located in Aultsville Hall, the Shark Tank provides a relaxed atmosphere to eat or study; pool, ping-pong and foosball players can enjoy their dedicated section and all can watch Netflix, Cogeco and play the Wii-U on our 70” LED TV.

Clubs

All full-time students can join or create a club of their choosing with funding available for activities and a room on campus to hold meetings. The clubs room can be booked with the CSU office in person or by sending a request via email to CSU@sl.on.ca .

For more information or to create a club, collect an application form from the CSU office.
