What is Sail to Success?

A half-day transition program focusing on self-advocacy, peer connections, and specialized services for students with disabilities.

When is Sail to Success?

Thursday, August 30th from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm

Who is Sail to Success for?

Any 1st year student who self-identifies as having a disability (e.g. had an IEP in high school, plan to access academic accommodations, have visited a guidance/counselling office).

How To Register:

How to Register

1.  Download UR SLC from the App Store or Google Play:

Search UR SLC or SLC (either will work)

2.  Follow the screen prompts to authenticate your phone number

3.  Login using your SLC.ME login and password

4.  Set up your account

a.  You can add a picture, link to your social media, and so much more!

b.  Choose your campus (you will only be able to see events on your campus)

5.  Under Events you’ll see Sail to Success

a.  Click ‘Register’

b.  Add 1 (one) free ticket, then click next

c.  Click ‘Enter Ticketholder Details’

d.  Complete the registration form and you’re registered!

6.  To see your tickets, click on the Campus tab at the bottom of UR SLC, you’ll be able to see a button named ‘My Tickets’

  • Learn helpful strategies to manage the transition to college
  • Review available services
